If you had to have a human pet or a bio-pet which would you choose and why?
Human. I'm in the market actually, assuming that I get to pick the pet in either case. Specifically, I'm in the market for an outside cat*, but am taking offers of other fuzzy varieties. The thing about non-human pets is that they can be very expensive, they can't talk to you/explain when something is wrong, they rarely bring in their own income and then they die after a few years. Human pets can have so many uses, many of which are the same thing that non-human pets offer. I'm personally shopping for a snuggley cuddle beast who can also be engaging for such things as conversation and general companionship including travel and such. Other things on the table are BDSM, training, performance art, co-topping... yeah. The other nice thing about a human pet is that it can be as full or part time as you negotiate. (For the student pets negotiation can be each semester.) Non-human pets are full time, that doesn't work as well for someone who travels as much as I like to. Great Question!
